Field of Interest Endowment Funds

You can target your gift to address needs in an important area of community life, for example the arts, seniors, at-risk youth, and so on. You identify your personal interest area when making your gift; our board awards grants to community groups and programs that are making a difference in the area you select.
Fields of Interest can include charitable interests [the arts or education], geographical areas [MD of Willow Creek, Town of Taber, etc.], specific age groups [children, seniors], socio-economic factors [poverty, at risk], types of endeavors [theatre, music, visual arts], or any interest the donor desires. Fund Agreements help to define the field of interest and provide for alternatives should that area no longer need support in the future [e.g. the care and feeding of retired milk horses].
Field of Interest funds are distributed by the board within the community impact grant program. Currently applications are not accepted for a specific fund or field.
