The most immediate way of donating to the Lethbridge Community Foundation is with donations of cash, cheque or credit card. Many of our donors find this route appealing as the funds are invested immediately to begin accruing interest and the donor receives tax savings on his/her next return.

Donations of all amounts are accepted, in Canadian or US funds, and all donors will receive a charitable receipt when we receive your gift. Donations can be made in person at or mailed to the Foundation office, or online through CanadaHelps.org [a secure site specifically for Canadian charitable donations].

Cash donations can be made to the Foundations general funds, any existing established funds, to your own established or emerging fund, or a combination of 2 or more funds. If you already have a fund established, your gift will automatically be applied to that fund unless otherwise stated. If you have specific intentions for your gift, you may print the Foundation's donor card and send it with your cheque to ensure that the foundation knows your intentions. If you are donating to a specific fund, please indicate this in the "memo" line of your cheque or on the donation card. If donations are made in memory of or to an established fund, the family or fund holders will receive a letter from the Foundation telling them of your gift. If you wish to remain anonymous please write anonymous on your cheque or donor card, or indicate this to the Foundation staff if the donation is made in person.

If donating by cheque, please make it payable to Lethbridge Community Foundation.
