The Lethbridge Community Foundation's annual Friends of the Foundation Dinner was held on Monday, Sept 21, 2009 at the Lethbridge Lodge. Featuring NHL linesman Ray Scapinello, 2008 NHL Hockey Hall of Fame inductee and author of "Between the Lines: Not-So-Tall Tales from Ray "Scampy" Scapinello's Four Decades in the NHL". The Lethbridge Community Foundation celebrated its 2009 Community Impact Grant Awards with a media event to recognize 43 southwestern Alberta community organizations that will share a total of $156, 715 on Tuesday, February, 9, 2010 at the Gem of the West Museum in Coaldale.
