Foundation Dinner 2009

An Annual Event

For the past 10 years the Foundation has held a yearly dinner to thank our supporters, and to introduce new people to the Foundation and its work.  Each year we host/highlight a different speaker to entertain and broaden our charitable knowledge/ideas.

The 10th Anniversary Friends of the Foundation Dinner was held on Tuesday, October 7, 2008.

The dinner provided a unique opportunity to be introduced to Ryan Blais, a 2010 Olympic hopeful competing in freestyle aerial skiing. Ryan inspired attendees with both his passion for his sport and his desire to help others through the Come Fly With Me Foundation which he established at the Community Foundation of Greater Grande Prairie.  To learn more about Ryan Blais, please click here.

This annual event is a wonderful way to show support for your community foundation, to introduce someone new to the foundation, and to be inspired by one of our passionate young Albertans.
The Lethbridge Community Foundation's annual Friends of the Foundation Dinner was held on Monday, September 21, 2009 at the Lethbridge Lodge.  This year, were pleased to feature a Canadian sports icon who is also dedicated to giving back.
