The Buck Starts Here 2007

"This event provided valuable information and opportunities to network.  It is so much better to speak with representatives face-to-face rather than on the phone or by email ... Great one-stop shopping!" This was just one of many positive comments received from conference delegates.

The Buck Starts Here was held to celebrate National Philanthropy Day 2007 [Nov 15] and the City of Lethbridge graciously hosted the event.  The conference was initiated by the Lethbridge Community Foundation to provide community organizations the opportunity to explore funding strategies and personally meet representatives of funding and support agencies.  Due to the overwhelming positive response from the charitable community, planning started for the Buck Starts Here 2008.

This year's event will take place at the Lethbridge Lodge to allow more people to attend [we expect 200 - 300], and will run for 2 days to allow for more time for presenters, programs and networking time.
