The Lethbridge Community Foundation acts as a leader and catalyst in enabling community development in southwestern Alberta. The Foundation provides expertise and opportunities to connect individuals, groups and organizations for the betterment of their communities.

Our Mission
The Lethbridge Community Foundation provides an effective, flexible method for philanthropic individuals of all means to connect to worthy causes in southwestern Alberta.
- All the communities in southwestern Alberta are now the ongoing beneficiaries of the foresight of the Foundation founders and generous donors.
- The community foundation model, which the Lethbridge Community Foundation helped develop, provides many flexible options for people to give back to their communities.
- As a community foundation, we invest the charitable gifts of a wide range of donors into pooled, income-earning endowment funds. We make grants from the earnings to support a broad range of registered charities. The capital remains untouched, creating granting income for generations to come.
- This model is flexible enough to adapt to the changing interests of donors and the needs of our communities.
- The Lethbridge Community Foundation is committed to identifying the needs of our communities and encouraging donors to continue building the community endowment in order to meet those needs.
